Article 1 – Interpretation

This agreement defines the terms of service. Any capitalized terms used here have specific meanings mentioned either in this agreement or in the Open Journal System Services, OJS Hosting, OJS Update which are part of this agreement.

Article 2 – Engagement

The Client engages OJS-SERVICES.COM to provide services for authorized versions of open-source software as described on the website. The specific support level and fees are outlined in the annual invoice provided by OJS-SERVICES.COM.

Article 3 – Term of the Agreement

The agreement is valid initially for 12 months and automatically renews for subsequent 12-month terms unless terminated with a 30-day notice.

Article 4 – Payment Terms

Payment for support fees is due annually in US Dollars. Non-payment may result in service suspension or termination.

Article 5 – General Provisions Applicable to Services

OJS-SERVICES.COM provides hosting services and limited basic support. Certain services or modifications are excluded from the standard support.

Article 6 – Client Responsibilities

Clients must not post unlawful or objectionable content and are responsible for maintaining any customizations made to the supported software.

Article 7 – Client Acknowledgements, Representations, and Warranties

Clients acknowledge compliance with laws and agree not to damage or misuse the services provided.

Article 8 – Intellectual Property

Data created and uploaded by the client remains their property. Supported software operates under the GNU General Public License terms.

Article 9 – Disclaimer of Warranties

Except as expressly provided, OJS-SERVICES.COM disclaims any warranties related to the supported software and services.

Article 10 – Miscellaneous Provisions

• Dispute resolution will be through amicable negotiation and, if necessary, mediation.
• The agreement becomes effective upon acceptance.
